It sure seems like it is very easy to end up feeling overwhelmed by all the negativity in the world, to end up feeling down and helpless to make any difference. I don’t think that is what God wants for His people.
Slow down for a moment, smile and relax, remembering God is with us at all times. We are each designed as His children to know Him and to experience Him in our hearts. Walk as a child in delight of every blessing, take note of the ever present beauty in nature, feel God’s love in your heart.
Listening to your favorite praise and worship music helps to create a sense of joy and love of the father. Reading and meditating on a favorite scripture until you sense the Holly Spirit speaking the scripture’s wisdom to your heart.
We can proclaim our trust and security with our shepherd as we listen to His calming voice. We glorify Him by appreciating His gifts and can proclaim His presence to the watching world.

“As the father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love, If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love.” John 15:9-10
